In this week’s round-up, new non-fiction series are scheduled to debut across Viceland, E!, Discovery and HGTV.

Scripps Networks Interactive-owned lifestyle channel is slated to premiere its latest addition to the Flip or Flop franchise.

Flip or Flop Atlanta (13 x 30 minutes) follows expert flippers Ken and Anita Corsini as they transform rundown and dilapidated southern houses throughout Atlanta, a market ranked among the top 10 for real estate investment in the U.S., into modern homes that retain their original charm. The series premieres tonight (July 20) at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV.

NBCUniversal-owned cable net E! Entertainment, meanwhile, has mined the Kardashian family vault for its latest reality series.

Produced by Bunim/Murray Productions and Ryan Seacrest Productions, Life of Kylie (pictured) will document the antics Kylie Jenner as she spends time with best friend Jordyn Woods while navigating life as an entrepreneur, fashion designer, author, television star, style icon and founder of Kylie Cosmetics. Life of Kylie premieres with two back-to-back episodes across E! on Aug. 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Elsewhere, Vice Media’s youth-focused lifestyle and entertainment channel Viceland is gearing up to launch the eight-part docuseries Last Chance High.

Adapted and updated from the 2014 Vice News web series, Last Chance High focuses on the students at Moses Montefiore Academy, a school for the most troubled youth on Chicago’s tumultuous West Side. For some of the most at-risk children in the U.S., the school serves as their best chance at turning their lives around. The expanded series now follows up on teachers and their former pupils following the school’s closure in 2016, in the midst of Chicago’s most violent period in more than two decades. Produced in-house, and originally produced by the Vice News team, Last Chance High airs on Viceland Aug. 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Finally, Discovery will air its Jim Parsons-narrated docuseries First in Human on Aug. 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT

Produced by McGee Media, the three-part series will provide unprecedented access inside the Bethesda, Maryland-based National Institutes of Health’s Building 10 to reveal how medical breakthroughs evolve out of state-of-the-art research labs and transition into the hands of medical professionals worldwide. Directed by John Hoffman, the project will also set out to explore the lives of the doctors, researchers, and patients who together make progress possible in this cutting-edge testing ground in the nation’s largest research hospital. The institution has previously been the first to use chemotherapy for cancer, lithium for depression and immunosuppressive therapy for lupus.
