UK pubcaster Channel 4 Daytime has acquired a new docusoap property series Sun, Sea & Selling Houses from Warner Bros. Television Production UK-owned prodco Ricochet.

The 20 x 60-minute series (pictured) follows two British families in Spain who are in the real estate business. The show focuses on their personal and professional lives in the face of Brexit, which threw a curve ball into the housing market. In spite of the turmoil, it’s all business for the families who continue to sell property to Brits looking for fun in the sun.

Featured in the series are the Garner family from Cannock near Birmingham, who have relocated 12 years ago to Mojacar, Almeria in Spain to run a family-owned real estate business; and the Rodriguez family from Liverpool, who, in 2001, moved to Benijofar where they started a property business from scratch.

Sun, Sea and Selling Houses was executive produced by Rob Butterfield and series produced by Emma Walsh for Ricochet. It was commissioned by Channel 4’s David Sayer.
