Warner Bros. Discovery lifestyle cable net HGTV is readying Renovation Impossible, a new home reno series featuring Garage Rehab and Fast ‘n’ Loud star Russell J. Holmes, for an early September premiere.
The series, from Pilgrim Studios, comes to HGTV more than a year after its pilot aired in the spring of 2021. It brings together Holmes (pictured) and designer Paige Poupart, who team up to help client couples with opposing visions for their homes’ makeovers reach creative compromises, while keeping costs low and end results high.
“It’s not always easy with strict budgets and clients who don’t always see eye-to-eye on renovation decisions. This is where I step in,” Holmes said about the series. “I use tough love, creative solutions and a lot of elbow grease to help clients turn their house into a home that they will love for years to come.”
Renovation Impossible precedes other new additions to the HGTV slate such as Battle of the Bling (w/t), slated for December, and the upcoming Renovation Wild, the first series from the network to be based in Africa, set for 2023.
