ITV Studios has announced the expansion of Armoza Formats with the launch of its new production company, Armoza Productions. The Israel-based content creation and distribution unit will now serve as the production arm of ITV Studios within Israel, producing all ITV Studios content there moving forward.

The prodco is already attached to a new season of ITV Studios’ Come Dine with Me (pictured) for Israeli pubcaster Kan 11.

Armoza Productions has also announced the hiring of Lital Berenfeld Levi to the post of head of production to spearhead the new line of business. She joins the team from Endemol Shine Israel, where she was head of non-scripted productions. Prior to that she was lead producer and executive producer on multiple programs across a range of genres.

The news follows Armoza Formats becoming part of ITV Studios under managing director of international production Lisa Perrin. The company will continue to work closely with Mike Beale, managing director of ITV Studios’ Global Creative Network.

“We are always looking for ways to move the company forward, and since becoming part of ITV Studios this was the next natural step in our integration. With Lital, who brings her knowledge of production and of the Israeli industry, leading the team, we look forward to bringing ITV Studios’ wide variety of creative content to Israeli audiences starting with Come Dine with Me,” said Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats in a release.

Come Dine with Me was recently commissioned by HBO Max in Mexico, as well as being recommissioned in several territories including Germany, Greece, Croatia, Chile, Brazil, Latvia, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Turkey, Slovakia and Sweden. A new spin-off, Come Dine with Me: The Professionals, has also been commissioned by Channel 4 in the UK.
