HBO Max has given an eight-episode series order to the half-hour unscripted series Amy Learns To… starring Amy Schumer and produced by Industrial Media’s The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC).

The series is Schumer’s (pictured) second project with the WarnerMedia-owned streamer following the docuseries Expecting Amy.

In each episode of Amy Learns To…, the actress and comedian learns a new skill, craft or trade from a local expert in her husband’s hometown of Martha’s Vineyard — from diving for clams to selling real estate, performing a magic trick or repairing a roof.

Schumer serves as executive producer with Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman executive producing for IPC.

Jennifer O’Connell, executive vice president, non-fiction and live-action family, HBO Max, said in a release: “We are thrilled to be working with Amy again!  She is sure to surprise and amaze us with her willingness to push boundaries and try something new, always with a hilarious spin.”
