Wheelhouse Entertainment has signed a deal with Belfast-based independent production company Stellify Media to bring two of Stellify’s new formats, Celebrity Snoop Dogs and Secret Body, to the U.S. market.

Celebrity Snoop Dogs takes viewers inside the homes of the rich and famous with a “dog’s eye view” thanks to specially designed, animal-safe cameras worn by the dogs, while viewers and a cast of celebrities try to guess who’s house — and dog — they’re watching. The U.K. version of Celebrity Snoop Dogs launched on Channel 4 in April 2020, and was a Realscreen MIPCOM Pick in 2020.

Secret Body is dubbed the world’s first undercover weight loss show. Conducted under the supervision of health and fitness experts, the series sees contestants undertaking a dramatic yet secretive body transformation process over 12 weeks while wearing a prosthetic “fat suit” to hide their progress until the big reveal. The original version of the series was commissioned in 2019 for BBC1 Scotland.

Wheelhouse, which launched an influencer-focused digital arm, Wheelhouse DNA, earlier this year, will coproduce the U.S. versions of both shows with Stellify.

Celebrity Scoop Dogs and Secret Body both put fun, original twists on formats that are among viewers’ favorite types of shows to watch,” said Wheelhouse Entertainment CCO Scott Lonker in a statement. “We’re looking forward to working with Stellify to bring these series to the U.S.”

“We can’t wait to work with the Wheelhouse guys and take these projects out,” added Matthew Worthy, joint managing director of Stellify.
