In this week’s Renewed and Returning, new seasons for shows on the Food Network, TLC, TVO and other channels are on their way.

The baking competition program Spring Baking Championship returns to the Food Network.

Host Jesse Palmer welcomes nine bakers as they compete to create the most impressive springtime bakes for judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman and Lorraine Pascale. The bakers’ skills and techniques must measure up in themed challenges celebrating spring as only one baker will take home the grand prize of $50,000 and the title of Spring Baking Champion. Spring Baking Championship airs March 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Food Network.

AT&T Audience Network has greenlighted a second season of the original docuseries Religion of Sports that takes its audience around the globe to the places where sports, culture and spiritually merge. The docuseries visits rugby players in New Zealand, long distance runners from the Sahara Desert to the Arctic Circle, rival L.A. gangs the Blood and Crips, who agree to a 48-hour ceasefire for a friendly game of basketball, and many more stops.

The show is executive produced by New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, pro football Hall of Famer Michael Strahan and award-winning filmmaker Gotham Chopra. Religion of Sports will air later this year exclusively on DirecTV, DirecTV NOW and AT&T U-Verse.

In other news, the fifth season of Spike TV’s Bar Rescue returns with host Jon Taffer. In this season, he tries to save the State Pub, a college bar outside of Denver, Colorado with a potential owner that has racked up debt and scares away clientele while drinking on the job. Taffer tries to rescue the bar while ensuring the potential ownership deal doesn’t fall through. Other stops in the series include Chicago, IL, New Orleans and L.A. throughout the rest of the season. Bar Rescue returns Feb. 19 at 10 p.m. ET/PT

Elsewhere, The Water Brothers returns for its fourth and final season on TVO. In the final season of the series, audiences are taken to the Amazon to see the vital role trees play in the planet’s water cycle, investigate stealth technology aimed at stopping illegal fishing in the South Pacific, and how one of the most popular cuisines in the world may be due for a revolution. The Water Brothers is commissioned by TVO and produced by SK Films. The Water Brothers returns to TVO Fridays, beginning March 3 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Finally, Myx TV’s original series Mom vs Matchmaker returns with a second season of stiff competition, sexy dates, meddling moms and epic battles. Matchmaker Carmelia Ray goes head to head with feisty moms to find a winning match for their child. Mom vs Matchmaker premieres March 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and is produced by Daniel Oron and Natasha Ryan for Go Button Media and Miguel Santos for Myx TV.
